Formosa Village
The description Formosa Village is used to describe the central area for the Windsor Palms, Indian Ridge, Indian Creek, Formosa Gardens, Sunset
Lakes and Rolling Hills sub divisions. Formosa Village is a shopping area on
US192. Formosa Village offer the following
Dining: TGI Friday's, Carrabbas Italian Grill, Cracker Barrel, Red Lobster, Outback Steak House, Giordano's Pizza, Taco
Bell, Subway, Taste of China, Take Japanese and Dairy Queen. Most of these
restaurants offer take out and delivery.
Shopping: Eckerd, Winn Dixie Marketplace Grocery store, Dry Cleaning, Hairdresser and
Centra Care walk in medical.
Golf: The nearest Golf Course is one mile from the house and is the newly opened Palms
Resort - Mystic Dunes Course, which is receiving very good reviews in the
Golfing press.
Alongside Formosa Village are numerous other eating places - Denny's, McDonalds, Burger
King, Steak Houses, Lobster and Crab restaurants, Sizzler, Ponderosa, Bob Evans,
IHOP, Shoney's and Golden Corral.
Windsor Palms - Map Location 9
This resort community has many amenities for the active family. Club house, pool table, ping
pong, movie theater, community pool, fitness room, shop, community spa,
community children’s pool, play area, tennis, basketball, volleyball, BBQ and
picnic areas, walking and biking all within a 24 hour manned and gated
community. Disney is a 5 minute drive.
Indian Creek - Map Location 9
This residential neighborhood is one mile south
of US192 just behind Splendid China. On site amenities include soccer field,
tennis court, basketball, pitch and putt, two children's play areas and walking
and biking trails. Disney is a 5 minute drive.
Formosa Gardens Estates- Map Location 8

Disney is a 5 minute drive.
Rolling Hills - Map Location 8
Rolling Hills is a small and upscale
neighborhood with a mix of elegant one and two storey homes. It boasts 3 natural
ponds teaming with wildlife. Several families of Sandhill Cranes reside on
Rolling Hills. Disney is a 5 minute drive.
Indian Ridge - Map Location 7
This established family friendly neighborhood has a real Florida community feel to it, with its mature trees, walking paths
and open spaces. Soccer, baseball, swimming pool, tennis, shuffle board, volley ball and two
kids play areas make this a fun place to stay. Disney is a 5 minute drive.
Sunset Lakes - Map Location 48
A beautiful gated community with substantial homes built around three small lakes. This community also has its
own pool, cabana and dock on the main lake. Disney is a 10 minute drive.
Eagle Pointe - Map Location 32
You will love the lake view at the house we rent in this area. Very quiet and
peaceful location, yet situated only minutes from the central US192 area, with
major chain stores and shopping malls. Disney is a 10 minute drive.
Golf
The nearest golf course to the Formosa Gardens area is Mystic Dunes.
Windsor Palms, Indian Ridge, Indian Creek, Formosa Gardens, Sunset Lakes and Rolling Hills
are all within a 5 minute drive.
